There comes a time when you find that you have too much going on at once.

Step one is denial. You attempt to go on as if everything is the same. Step two is limited acceptance. Okay. Sure, but it's all good. You can handle it. Step three is resignation. No. No you can't. Handle it, that is.

Step four is precision surgery bordering on the obsessively psychotic. I must take a scapel and slice things up nicely into little bite-sized chunks so I can reconstruct something that doesn't make me want to mince it into oblivion.

I will not settle for Frankenstein. I want Venus.
